What to Expect

The Benson Motel is a simple motel with straightforward amenities and clean, comfortable rooms. Our property was built in the 1970s and maintains its classic character. We are situated off Minnesota Avenue (Hwy 12) in beautiful Benson, Minnesota steps from The Swift County Museum. The Benson Motel is the ideal outpost for a weekend getaway or a family vacation to discover Benson and its surrounding natural wonders. 

We offer modern conveniences in each room including complimentary high speed WiFi, a Keurig machine with premium coffee, refrigerator, microwave, flat screen television, and Directv digital cable with a premium channel package.

Upon an ownership change in early 2022, we began re-opening the once closed building to become what is now known as The Benson Motel. As of today our rooms have been completely refreshed with 4-star quality linens, fixtures, appliances, speedy WiFi, Keurig coffee and a premium bath amenities program. These classic rooms maintain their original character, offering incredible value for the area.

The personality of our motel may be vintage but our attitude is fresh. We strive to ensure your stay with us is comfortable and pleasant as we continue to make improvements along the way.
